Act 1 scene 3 lines 377-424
From the very beginning i was pretty confused on what was happening but as the play developed things started to become more and more clear. at the end of act one scene three Iago with his rant to Roderigo. constantly Iago says "put money in thy purse." which had me question whats the mean behind this. fascinating that this was just more to show and proving how cunning and evil Iago really is. he already is teamed up with Roderigo to go and ruin affairs with Othello and Desdemona who Roderigo is madly in love with. but Iago also tries to take away all of Roderigo's money as well destroying what he has by trying to convince him to sell his land to seek after a love that wont happen. but why does he attack Roderigo? His feud his for Othello not Roderigo so why bring him down. Is he just that evil of a person or is there an underlining reason to bring him down?
