According to definition in OED, "charmer" means "a person who acts in a way that makes them attractive to other people, sometimes using this to influence others". And put this definition in to the context, the meaning might be :the Egyptian woman is an attractive person who is understanding and is able to almost guess other people's thoughts. However, in the early modern usdage, "charmer" means witch. Thus, the entire meaning changes. This line means, the Egyptian woman is a witch and she could almost read people's thoughts.
